Safe Play Space

Phase 1

Unlocking Abilities currently provides services to 19 amazing kiddos at the Autism Learning Center. Our goal is to transform the existing play area, which is currently in disrepair, into a safe, functional, and sensory-friendly space where children can run, play, and unleash their energy. This initiative will create a joyful and inclusive environment that encourages movement, social interaction, and fun. Together, we can give these kids the space they deserve to grow, thrive, and just be kids!

Raise a Playgroud

Phase 2

Once the kiddos at Unlocking Abilities have a safe space to run and play, the next phase of this initiative will focus on creating a sensory-friendly play structure. Designed with their unique needs in mind, this structure will include features like climbing elements, slides, and other engaging activities to spark joy, build confidence, and support sensory exploration. Together, we can make their playtime not only safe but also a truly enriching experience!

Funding for Assistive Technology

Ongoing

Unlocking Hope is committed to raising funds to help children access Assistive Technology (AT). AT encompasses devices and systems that support individuals, with or without disabilities, in improving their functioning, learning, or communication.

These essential tools often come with high costs, putting them out of reach for many families.

Additionally, navigating insurance or school district processes can lead to frustrating delays or denials.

By fundraising, we aim to break down these barriers and ensure that every child has the resources they need to reach their full potential. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Supporting Families with Therapy Costs

Unlocking Hope is dedicated to offering financial support to families in need of evidence-based therapies, including Speech, Occupational Therapy, and ABA Therapy. These therapies are intensive, ongoing, and essential for a child’s development—but even with health insurance, the associated costs can place a significant financial burden on families.

No family should have to choose between their child’s progress and their financial stability. Our mission is to ease this burden, ensuring that families can focus on what truly matters: accessing the life-changing therapies their children need to thrive.
